How do I advertise on PeopleFlip?

What types of ads can I buy?
Most people buy text ads, because they are easy and fast to create. Some websites may allow you to run display (banner) ads as well.
Ad prices vary and are set by the website publisher.
Ad duration limits are set by the website publisher, and most websites offer several options. You may be able to choose to run your ad for a week or a month, or you may be able to pay a set amount each time your ad is clicked or shown.
Are you affiliated with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, or any other websites?
No. We simply reference those sites because most people point their ad to their social networking profile on one of those sites.
You can pay for your ad with any major credit card or PayPal.
When people click my ad, where will they be taken?
They will go to whatever destination website you choose when you create your ad. Most people direct users to their social networking profile (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), or to a personal website or blog.
Can I track how many times my ad has been clicked?
Yes, PeopleFlip allows you to track how many times your ad is displayed and clicked.
What are "run of network" ads?
Run of network ads allow you to cast a wide net by placing your ad on several different websites at once.
Are there any restrictions of what I can place in my ad?
Website publishers set ad guidelines for their websites, and approve all new ads before they go live. If your ad meets their policies (IE, no adult content, foul language, etc.) it will usually be approved quite quickly.
What happens if my ad is rejected?
If your ad is rejected, your account will be credited the outstanding balance which can be put toward a different or future ad campaign. We do not offer refunds.
How long does it take for my ad to be approved?
It usually takes less than 24 hours. If you have been waiting longer than 24 hours for your ad to be approved, please let us know.

A publisher refers to the websites that run PeopleFlip ads.
How do publishers make money from PeopleFlip?
Publishers set prices for their PeopleFlip ads, and advertisers purchase those ads through PeopleFlip. PeopleFlip keeps 20% of the sale price.
What are "run of network" ads?
Selling run of network ads allows you to monetize your PeopleFlip ad space even if you haven't sold any ads. By offering run of network ads, you'll be able to sell pay-per-click ads to people who want to advertise themselves across our entire network (rather than only on a single or a few websites). These run of network ads will only display on your website when you do not have any ads running that were purchased specifically to run on your site.
Can anybody be a publisher?
Yes, as long as you are the person who makes decisions about what ads can run on your website or blog.
PeopleFlip pays publishers on the first of every month when your total amount due (sales minus 20%) exceeds $20.
How much control do I have over the process?
You have total control over how ads are displayed on your site, plus how much to charge for ads. You can also approve all ads before they go live on your site.
Do I need to know any web develoment languages?
No. You simply need to copy and paste a single line of code into your website code. You are given this code after configuring your ad preferences.
Who will advertise on my website?
PeopleFlip allows people to advertise themselves. If a person feels your content and/or audience is relevant to them, they may purchase ads from you.
How will advertisers find my website?
Advertisers will find your website listed on PeopleFlip, and will also be able to click the "advertise here" link that appears below the PeopleFlip ads running on your site.
What are the different kinds of ads I can sell on my site?
You can sell text or display (banner) ads of any size.
How can I "featured" my website on PeopleFlip, to get more advertisers?
